A LETTER FROM OUR
CHAPTER PRESIDENT
To my sisters, thank you so much for giving me an environment that has helped me to grow as a leader and has empowered me to run for President. If you were to have asked me two years ago if I would ever run for president of anything, I would have thought you insane for even asking. I never believed in myself to be a qualified leader before TBS. Having your support throughout the years has changed me fundamentally. I know, truly, that I would not be the woman or leader that I am today without you all standing by my
side. I have never encountered a group of people so genuine and loving in my life, always motivating me to be the best version of myself—both for myself and for my sisters. Devoting my time to this organization has been the greatest decision of my life, and I am forever honored to have had the opportunity to serve alongside all of you these past years. I hope that you all see my passion for this organization and the passion I would bring to the role of President. I hope to have earned your trust from my work last year as VPSH and the ideas I have presented here today. My deepest wish is to serve this chapter further as your President next year. Number 8 of 8: “Fortitude and courage to see an ideal, to seize upon it, and follow it wherever it may lead you in Tau Beta Sigma”. Thank you for giving me this opportunity today, and it would be the greatest honor to serve you as President for the 2026-2027 school year.
MLITB,
Alecia Huff
